Term Dates and Staff Development Days

School term and holidays dates can be found via the Department of Education website at Term dates – Department of Education.  Staff development days will be communicated to families at the end of each year for the coming year.

Contributions and Charges

To enable us to provide a quality education program for our students, the College Board has endorsed the collection of Voluntary Contributions and Charges.

The income generated from both Voluntary Contributions (all Year groups up to Year 10) and Charges (Years 11 and 12) is vitally important to us. Your contribution supplements funding obtained from other sources, including the State and Federal governments and assists us to enrich your child’s learning experiences. Your support through the prompt payment of the Voluntary Contributions and Charges will be appreciated.

In Term 4 of each school year a guide for the Contributions and Charges for your child’s educational program for the following year at Bullsbrook College will be distributed to each family.

Charges for Year 11 and 12 courses are, and always have been, compulsory. Due to the expense of these subjects, it is necessary to request a 50% deposit be paid prior to the end of the current year and the remaining 50% is due within the first two weeks of the new school year. Where payments have not been commenced by March of the new school year parents will be contacted to make arrangements.

Uniforms

All items of clothing/uniform must be purchased from the Uniform Shop at Bullsbrook College.  The distribution of the official uniform is managed by Matrix Uniforms, a division of Tara Uniforms who have designed and supplied the current uniform since 2015.  Orders may be placed at the Uniform Shop or there is also the added convenience of online ordering for pick up at the Uniform Shop.

Our Uniform Shop is open on the school campus on Tuesdays from 1:00 to 4:00pm and can be contacted on 0403 589 536.

Order online direct from Matrix Uniforms at www.tarauniforms.com.au.

Secondary Assistance Scheme

Current Health Care/Pensioner card holders may be entitled to the $235.00 Secondary Assistance Scheme for Years 8-12. Cards must be current in first term and include the following:

  • Centrelink Family Health Care Card
  • Centrelink Pensioner Concession Card
  • Department of Veteran’s Affairs Pensioner Concession Card (blue card only)

Uniform allowance is $115.00 paid to the parent; alternatively, parents can nominate the clothing allowance to be paid directly to the school to offset the cost of Contributions and Charges. Education allowance is $235.00 paid direct to the school. Forms will be available from the College Administration Office in First Term. Deductions from Centrelink payments can also be utilised to pay for Charges.

Booklists are distributed near the end of each year. Parents can order the list online via Campion Education or from the supplier of their choice. Please select the relevant year below to view the current booklists.
