Student Enrolment
Welcome to Bullsbrook College.
Our school is unique in a number of respects. Our location (semi rural) is delightful and our grounds and facilities are extremely pleasant for students whether indoors or outdoors. Having children onsite from their first year of schooling in Kindergarten to their final year of schooling at Year 12 brings a sense of family which we feel enhances the school. We have an offsite Community Kindergarten as well as our Kindergarten classes here in our Early Childhood Centre.
Our Business Plan is available via this website or in hard copy from our Main Reception. This document contains our priorities and the overarching strategies in place to achieve those priorities.
Our Moral Purpose is the centre of our school’s focus on building community minded citizens who are engaged and positive.
“Engaging out students to achieve personal success and contribute positively to our community.”
Families are enrolled too. Where students see a positive and strong partnership between families and the school they are much more likely to achieve success. We encourage you to contact us sooner rather than later if there are ever any questions or queries. Strengthening communication between family and school is always important to us. Building a strong school community includes supporting the college tone by wearing our college uniform proudly, attending regularly and on time, and giving our best each and every day. By enrolling your child at Bullsbrook College, you are agreeing to these important basics of education for your child.
Please note that the first step in the enrolment process is completing an Application for Enrolment form which is not a confirmation of enrolment at this stage of the process.
Once your application has been approved you will be asked to complete the other documents listed below.
Applications for enrolment are processed in accordance with the Department of Education’s Enrolment Policy. We are a Kindergarten to Year 12 School. A child should be enrolled in school if they will be:
- Four years old on or before 30 June within the current year (enrol in Kindergarten)
- Changing schools or starting school in Western Australia for the first time.
Although Kindergarten is not a compulsory year of school, children who will be four years old on or before 30 June within the current year can be enrolled in Kindergarten and parents are encouraged to do so. Kindergarten and Pre Primary applications are accepted from the beginning of the year prior to eligibility. Students who were born overseas must be Australian citizens, permanent residents or hold an appropriate visa before applying to enrol. Students on a temporary Visa that are to enrol as full fee paying students must provide a copy of their Visa for the Principal’s consideration.
The Enrolment form must be accompanied by your child’s birth certificate, immunisation records, proof of current address and Family Court Orders.
Parents are required to contact the school promptly when there are changes to contact details including address and telephone numbers of emergency contacts and also changes to supervision or guardianship with regard to Court Orders.
Further information can be obtained from the Department of Education website Department of Education and Training.
