Contributions & Charges
To enable us to provide a quality education program for our students, the College Board has endorsed the collection of Voluntary Contributions and Charges.
The income generated from both Voluntary Contributions (all Year groups up to Year 10) and Charges (Years 11 and 12) is vitally important to us. Your contribution supplements funding obtained from other sources, including the State and Federal governments and assists us to enrich your child’s learning experiences. Your support through the prompt payment of the Voluntary Contributions and Charges will be appreciated.
In Term 4 of each school year a guide for the Contributions and Charges for your child’s educational program for the following year at Bullsbrook College will be distributed to each family.
Charges for Year 11 and 12 courses are, and always have been, compulsory. Due to the expense of these subjects it is necessary to request a 50% deposit be paid prior to the end of the current year and the remaining 50% is due within the first two weeks of the new school year. Where payments have not been commenced by March of the new school year parents will be contacted to make arrangements.
These can be settled by:
- Cash or cheque
- Credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Bankcard)
- Arrangement with the school for regular periodic payments to suit your budget
- Direct debit payment – Bendigo Bank BSB 633 000 Account No 129344982 (please include your child’s name in the reference line)
We have EFTPOS facilities at the school for your convenience.
Secondary Assistance Scheme
Current Health Care/Pensioner card holders may be entitled to the $235.00 Secondary Assistance Scheme for Years 8-12. Cards must be current in first term and include the following:

Uniform allowance is $115.00 paid to the parent; alternatively parents can nominate the clothing allowance to be paid directly to the school to offset the cost of Contributions and Charges. Education allowance is $235.00 paid direct to the school. Forms will be available from the College Administration Office in First Term. Excursions
Enrichment of our learning program is supported by having different experiences on the school site as well as away from the school site.
At Bullsbrook College there are regular opportunities created by staff to support and build opportunities to enjoy meeting new people and gaining new life experiences.
In order to ensure all who participate in excursions are safe, staff are required to follow very explicit procedures in planning, preparing for, and conducting excursions. Parents will be given documents to complete, sign and return within a specified period of time when their daughter or son is involved.
Parent volunteers will sometimes be called for to assist with activities on some excursions – particularly with our younger children.
