Principal's Welcome

Our proud Independent Public School is at the heart of the Bullsbrook community and is a school which I thoroughly enjoy being a part of.

Bullsbrook College has a long history in our town going back to the mid-20th Century when it was known by other names including “Bullsbrook Junior High” and “Bullsbrook District High”. As the community has grown, so too has our school – now known as Bullsbrook College.  Once serving a tiny rural community we are now part of a steadily growing population as close to the CBD as some of the suburbs extending north and south along the coastal corridor of Perth. Bullsbrook College attracts students from a number of rural communities such as Bindoon, Gingin and Muchea as well as the Swan Valley.

A major rebuilding program (completed in 2012) was a big milestone in the school’s growth and development and has resulted in a modern and beautiful campus for our students and community to enjoy.

We were appointed as an Independent Public School commencing in 2013, another significant milestone recognising the school’s contributions and commitment to providing a high quality public education.

Side by Side, Beneath the Southern Cross, We Strive and Achieve

Our crest and banner is a proud emblem throughout our school and has evolved throughout the school’s history to the one you see today on all of our publications. The principles which it represents are at the heart of all we do.

There are so many things about our school which make us quite unique including the fact that we are a school servicing every age group from Kindergarten to Year 12.

Our school is big enough to offer a range of subjects to meet a variety of student interests, yet still a size in which every student is known.

On our secondary campus specialist staff teach curriculum offerings which support all students whatever their post school intentions.  Our university pathway has a strong record of success with students able to access individualised support from our dedicated teachers. Our vocational pathways are very well regarded with students accessing a wide range of training opportunities across the public sector and private industry.

On our primary campus, students learn from a strong and dedicated team of staff in attractive and friendly surroundings. Their transition to secondary programs is enhanced by the strong relationships already formed with key staff who support them in their secondary schooling.

We work hard to protect and nurture a family friendly environment with evidence based programs such as Friendly Schools adopted across the whole school. We want all children to learn in a safe and friendly environment and are very committed to working in close partnership with parents and carers to protect that environment.

We welcome enquiries. If you wish to find out more about us prior to considering enrolment we are very pleased for you to make an appointment to meet us, ask questions of us and take a tour of our campus.  Help us to help you find out more detail about what we can offer you and your family.
